If you had a writing motto what would it be?
Write one good page every day.

Where do you draw your inspiration?
From the ordinary people I meet every day who are heroes in their daily life: The women who make good mothers, great wives, and pursue successful careers. The men who give their all to be good fathers, great husbands, and excel at their chosen trade, whatever it may be. The sons and daughters who make the most of their God-given talents and take the calculated risks in life to make their parents proud and to become contributing members of society.

What is one interesting fact about you?
If I had a chance to be reborn, I would return as an anthropologist rather than again become the investment broker that I was.

Have you learned anything from the self publishing process and would you do anything differently next time?
Find readers from many walks of life early in the preparation of your manuscript to gain various viewpoints on the quality of what you have written.

What has been your most successful marketing strategy?
Hitting the bricks every week and visiting libraries around the country to make presentations on topics of interest to local library patrons and where I am allowed to sell my books afterward.

What is the best kept secret you have found in regard to indie publishing?
Finding exceptional reviewers who actually read my manuscript from cover to cover and make cogent statements about the quality of my work.
